I am reluctant to do this, because Sweetspire are doing so great for me that if everyone knows they're the publisher to partner with they will become too busy. But I'm going to anyway. Since first self-publishing over ten years ago I have had marketing deals with four different publishers. I have had mixed levels of success, but in each case I had no ill will towards my agents as that's the way marketing goes; you try, and you keep trying, until hopefully (someday) something takes. I am pleased to say that Sweetspire does stand out. I would like to thank Erica for her service, and can happily recommend her, and the agency, to any aspiring authors for honest and hardworking agency.

Sweetspire Literature Management company was introduced to me through one of its Title/Author managers; Princess Johnson. After writing my first book, I followed the path which most new author usually follow; Develop a Query Letter and send it to a specific targeted market of agents and publishers. I did this, however it was right in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic. As you might imagine, the number of replies I received were few and all followed the same outline. "Thanks for contacting us, however it seems that EVERYONE in the world has taken this time to write a book." The publishing industry was slammed with, probably tens of thousands of manuscripts, mainly unsolicited. While I decided to wait, Princess Johnson contacted me like clockwork, every six months to ask how I was, what was going on with my book and to keep me informed of the current pulse of the industry. After about 4 years or so, when I was re-writing it, she became a coach to me in the endeavor. She was indispensable during this process. She walked me through the entire process all the way through getting BARN SECRETS published. They launched the book on January 15 and with their promotion, I have had my first presentation and book signing this week. I can only assume that ALL of the people at Sweetspire are as talented as Ms. Johnson is. Her attention to detail has kept me very happy during times, that I understand from other authors had them pulling their hair out by the handful. I can only recommend that you make this company one of your contacts as you start out on your journey. I can faithfully say that Princess Johnson is one of the greatest assets that Sweetspire Literature Management has under it's command. Anyone that says differently is itchin' for a fight!
